Recommendations for mobile app:

  • Use short concise language, break up long passages with meaningful subheading
  • Use literal language
  • Use machine readable semantic-text
  • Make sure every element is marked-up to describe function
  • Design to reflow to minimum viewport size of 320 css pixels wide, 256 css pixels high
  • Confine scrolling to one axis
  • Accommodate font size increased to 200%
  • Accommodate line-height set to 1.5 times font size
  • Accommodate paragraph spacing set  to at least 2 times font size
  • Accommodate character tracking set to at least 0.12 times font size
  • Accommodate word spacing set to at least 0.16 times font size
